Igor Stimac, the head coach of the Indian men’s national team, published a list of 41 possible players for the training camp ahead of the AFC Asian Cup Final Round qualifiers in June on Tuesday.
Ritwik Kumar Das of Jamshedpur FC and Lalthathanga Khawlhring (Puitea) of Kerala Blasters FC were among those picked to begin training in Bellary on April 24.

The team will relocate to Kolkata for the remainder of the training camp until the qualifiers. After their respective obligations in Asian club competitions, players from Mumbai City FC and ATK Mohun Bagan will join the camp.
The Blue Tigers will play their final set of AFC Asian Cup China 2023 qualification matches in Kolkata starting June 8. India has been grouped with Hong Kong, Afghanistan, and Cambodia in Group D.
The Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan will host the first match between the host nation and Cambodia on June 8. India’s last international friendly was in March, against Bahrain and Belarus.
