The fastest goals in Europe’s top 5 leagues

We have seen many times that some teams start the football matches in ultra-attacking modes. They are all set to attack the opponent very intensely in the first few minutes to take advantage of the vulnerability. Many times this has resulted in quickfire goals which is a great way to start a match.

The 2019-20 season has been halted by the Coronavirus pandemic which is causing havoc worldwide. So in this time off the football pitch, let’s have a look at the fastest goals in each of Europe’s top 5 leagues: LaLiga, Serie A, Premier League, Bundesliga and Ligue 1.

LaLiga – Joseba Llorente (Real Valladolid)

It took just 7.8 seconds for Llorente to score against Espanyol on 20th January, 2008.

Premier League – Shane Long (Southampton)

Serie A – Paolo Poggi (Piacenza)
