Following their defeat against Al Jazira in their first meeting, Mumbai City FC played out a 0-0 draw in the return leg of their AFC Champions League clash. The Islanders now have four points from three games in the competition. They are tied with the two other teams in their group on four, while Al Shabab are cruising ahead with 10 points.
The game was mostly a cagey affair, with both sides failing to create a lot of chances throughout the game. It took almost half an hour for either side to have a clear cut opportunity at goal. Al Jazira had most of the ball and the chances initially, but nothing came to pass.
