Shakhtar Donetsk winger Manor Solomon will be joining Championship club Fulham in the summer. The two clubs are very close to finalising the transfer of the player and the deal will be announced and made official very soon.
Fulham will be paying the Ukrainian club £7 million for Manor Solomon. He will be the direct replacement for Fabio Carvalho, who is confirmed to join Liverpool at the end of the season. Carvalho will not be loaned back to Fulham and as a result, the Cottagers will be needing a player to take his place in the team permanently.
Manor Solomon to join Fulham from 22/23
The Israeli winger was forced to leave his home in Kyiv and make a 25-hour journey to Poland for safety. He has been allowed to leave by Ukrainian officials, since football has been suspended due to the armed invasion of the country carried out by Russia.
His representatives are currently working on finding a home in Fulham for the winger. He has earned 28 caps for his national team, and has the versatility to play on the left or behind the striker.
As a result, he will be able to become an efficient replacement for Carvalho, who performed a very similar role in the team. This season, the player has scored four goals and provided 2 assists in 26 games across all competitions.
The 22-year-old will be announced as soon as the two clubs can reach an agreement surrounding the terms of the transfer.
