Karim Benzema has been deemed as the favourite player to win the 2022 Ballon d’Or because from 2022 Ballon d’Or the rules have been changed. The new rules state that this prestigious award of football will be received by the best player during a football season from July to June and not in a year. Therefore, Karim Benzema has a great chance to win the Ballon d’Or.
