China Mobile procures 68,400 units of the Vivo X Fold and X Note devices

Vivo is set to launch its first foldable devices ever, the Vivo X Fold and Vivo X Note smartphones in just a few hours. The launch will happen in China, before the official launch, China Mobile has revealed the number of units it has procured.

China Mobile announced that it has ordered 68,400 units of the Vivo X Fold and the Vivo X Note smartphones. This gives you a fair idea of the demand for these foldable devices. The dealer has purchased 15,600 units of all the three available variants of the Vivo X Note smartphone.

The three models include an 8GB RAM+256GB device, a 12GB RAM+256GB device, and a 12GB RAM+512GB device. The company has ordered 8,000 units of each variant of the Vivo X Fold smartphone. The phone is set to arrive in two storage configurations, a 12GB RAM with 256GB internal storage one and a 12GB RAM with 512GB.

Vivo X Fold specs:

The Vivo X Fold will arrive with a 6.53″ OLED display with a Full HD+ screen resolution on the outside and an 8″ 2K E5 LTPO UTG display on the inside. The X Fold is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset.

In the optics department, it will pack a 50MP Samsung GN5 primary sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide sensor, a 12MP portrait lens, and a 5MP periscope lens. It runs on Android 12 OS with a custom UI on top.

The Vivo X Fold has a 4,600mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

Vivo X Note specs:

The Vivo X Note will feature a 7″ AMOLED display with a Quad-HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The X Note will also pack the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip. It has a 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP secondary sensor, a 12MP tertiary lens, and an 8MP shooter.

On the front, it has a single sensor placed in the middle for selfies. The device will run on Android 12 OS and will have a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging support.
