We’ve all been waiting for the upcoming Intel ARC graphics in action on actual laptops and the first laptop Intel already told us about was the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro. This laptop sports the entry-level Intel Arc A350M GPU and is already been made available in the Korean market.

So, a tech reviewer bullslab from Jeoljit Research Institute (뻘짓연구소) has tested a Samsung model with a product code of NT950XEV-G51A. It features a 12-core Intel Core i5-1240P Alder Lake processor paired with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The laptop also features a 1080p 60Hz AMOLED display and weighs only 1.17 kg.

The key thing to look at is the new Intel Arc A350M mobile GPU with 4GB of VRAM and it is the lowest tier GPU of Intel’s Alchemist series. It features an ACM-G11 GPU bearing 768 shaders and a 64-bit memory bus, as we see here, the GPU draws only 30W TDP.

So, when compared in 3DMark, the GTX 1650 50W GPU still outpaces the Intel Arc A350M comfortably while it scored only 200 points in Port Royal ray tracing benchmark. So, drawing very less power, this is not even an entyr-level discrete GPU for gaming but a good option for low TDP consuming thin & light laptops.
