AMD outselling NVIDIA in terms of GPUs sold as per the latest Mindfactory data

The hardware enthusiast @TechEpiphany always brings fresh data of Mindfactory’s weekly sales both for CPUs and GPUs, in 2022 it seems AMD has an abundance of budget GPUs to sell to customers. This is the reason why 970 units of AMD GPUs were sold having an ASP of only 558.67 euros and while NVIDIA had sold 860 units but it’s clear that they were costly ones.

So, NVIDIA had an average selling price of as much as 907.91 euros, while it had a 46.99% market share in terms of the number of units sold where AMD won by a slight margin of 53.01%. However, in terms of revenue, AMD managed to get only 40.97% while NVIDIA beat the Red team with 59.03%.

As you see the best selling GPU was the Radeon RX 6600 we had reviewed is a good option for 1080p gaming, this is followed by the RTX 3070 Ti which is a great GPU for 4K gaming. The next three best-selling GPUs were AMD’s RX 6500 XT, RX 6700 XT and RX 6600 XT this is the reason why AMD is targeting the budget-end while NVIDIA is happy selling their GPUs at high prices.

Overall, as you see AMD GPU prices have been decreasing which makes this a perfect option for budget gamers while NVIDIA’s GPUs are also on a decrease but because of its better value with features like Ray tracing, DLSS and others, these GPUs have a higher ASP.
