Netflix released the first look trailer of ‘Silverton Siege’. It is true that Netflix has got a huge success in the last few years in their action category. For promotion, Netflix dropped the latest trailer of the film that has been showcasing as what the fans of this category are expecting from the action thriller.
Silverton Siege: Plot
The story of the film has been inspired by the true-life events that also take place in South Africa in 1980. It reveals about the trio of freedom fighters who also get such collisions course along with the state after failing in such a mission that also turns into a bank hostage standing off. The trailer reveals the exact that also with the latest footage beginning from with the shots of police cars running on the road and there is a cop shooting out with a car tire and also contains the freedom fighters running away from something.
It seems like all the cut together with the voice-over of one of such freedom fighters Calvin played by Thabo Rametsi. It seems that Calvin tells the audience his tragic backstory of watching his Parents getting gunned down by the police while he was a little boy and also his mission is to take revenge on them.
It also then just takes them to the primary part of the trailer from where Calvin and his other te of freedom fighters visit the bank. After vesting one of the fighters proclai8med “this is bad” before they proceed and the police then surrounded the building. There is also one of such hostages that also says that there is only one way that the trio has been getting out of this,” prison of death”. It seems that Calm reassures them that this is not a bank robbery and if all of them become calm they will be able to go home.
The main tension that arises from the circumstances like it occurs while another hostage says,” You are all the same. Nothing but criminals.” It is the point while the table turns like Calvin suggests like,” it is outliving are worth everything, they may be we negotiate for a life that is worth everything” they just demand the release of Nelson Mandela and it just takes one hour to be done.
There is one such hostage have been told the trio what they are doi8ngf impossible and Calvin quotes Mandela directly saying,” it always seems impossible until it’s done.” After that again tension arises as to the final part of the trailer like a montage of the different escalation shots that also highlight the themes of the movie.
It seems that Calvin’s voiceover accompanies by sweat-inducing imagery saying, “You can hide behind your history and also use the privilege and your money, but you cannot just run away from who you actually are.” It seems like the handful of shots that also presents such tense standoffs, explosions with such a frantic chasing sequence. The new trailer also left the audience along with one such final question. What is the price of freedom? The answer is “everything”.

This action thriller was written by Sabelo Mgidi and features Rametsi, Arno0ld Vosloo, Noxolo Dlamini, Stefan Erasmus, Michelle Mosalakae, Elani Dekker, Shane Wellington, and Tumisho Masha.
This film is like to be a well-shot thriller that reveals that action is just as sharp as political commentary. It seems that film’s historical backdrop and relevance before, Netflix also has had such a lot of success with much of the action thrillers just like Extraction. This movie is looking like to continue that vibe and also with Mandlakayise Walter Dube in behind the camera as director and this the upcoming Netflix movie to like out for. Dube spent many years as a Camera assistant onto other action films like The Italian Hob and Men in Black 2.
