AMD sneak peeks its upcoming Radeon Super Resolution with a new graphics driver

The Red team is all set to new graphics driver on March 17th i.e. tomorrow and just before that they have released a video on YouTube that gives a sneak peak of what we could expect from it. The driver will bring three key features or improve them: AMD Link, Privacy View and Radeon Super Resolution.

Announced back at CES 2022, this new AMD Radeon Super Resolution has been built on the same algorithm as FidelityFX Super Resolution, an AI-powered supersampling technique. Now, with RSR, gamers will be able to enable the feature directly via their Adrenalin software and get boosted frame rates by the same technique as it used to be previously.

However, the feature will be limited to selected gaming titles and one can enable this feature via the Adrenalin software on any AMD RDNA-based GPU(i.e. Radeon RX 5000 and newer). This is unlike the original FSR that can be enabled on any GPU but as AMD promiseS, RSR will provide you with “near-native resolution gaming experiences” on any game which is capable of running in “exclusive full-screen mode.”

This Andrenalin software update will also bring updates to AMD Link application (AMD Link 5.0), which allows users to play their PC games on a phone, tablet or a Windows PC from virtually anywhere. Whereas AMD Privacy View technology, powered by Eyeware, is a new feature expected to be available in 1H 2022 that uses Eyeware’s cutting-edge head- and eye-tracking technology to deliver increased levels of privacy.
