OnePlus‘ co-founder Carl Pei launched a brand new venture last year named Nothing, he went on to launch the first product of this new brand, a pair of TWS buds with an affordable price tag, the Nothing Ear(1).
Now, Nothing appears to be gearing up for the launch of a new product, based on the latest teaser from their official social media handle, the expected timeline for the launch is the end of March.
So far, we have no clue as to what Nothing has planned but it was revealed earlier that they are working on five new products, ranging from a power bank and wireless earphones to a smartphone as well.
The power bank could be named Nothing Power(1) and their first smartphone could carry the name Nothing Phone(1). Generic names but hopefully with extraordinary specs! Both these devices will launch before the end of 2022.
A few weeks ago, a Twitter thread from Carl Pei hinted that they were working on a new smartphone powered by a Snapdragon chip and running the Android OS.
The company has also shared a photo on Twitter that shows a transparent frame of what appears to be a smartphone but it can also be something else. Considering the teasers, it is likely that the next product will also feature a transparent body similar to that of the Nothing ear(1).
There is a high chance of the company announcing the product this month but the actual launch could be a couple of weeks or months later. It is unlikely that their smartphone will launch later this month as we can expect the brand to do a lot of promos and release more teasers before launching a smartphone.
