Kylian Mbappe has laid down three big conditions for him to stay at PSG beyond the summer. The forward’s contract with the French giants expires in the summer, and he has been strongly linked with a switch to Real Madrid as a free agent.
Mbappe has been vocal about his desire to play for Los Blancos one day. And after the three huge bids that PSG rejected last summer, they are making last ditch efforts to try and keep the player.
Kylian Mbappe states his demands
The Frenchman has firstly asked for the sporting project to be built so that the club can challenge for the Champions League title every year. They came close to winning the title in 2020, reaching the finals of the competition only to be defeated by Bayern Munich.
Kylian Mbappe also wants preference over Lionel Messi, and specifically, Neymar in terms of set-pieces. The South American duo is currently in charge of penalties and free-kicks, when they come around on the pitch.
Lastly, Mbappe also wants a final answer on the future of Mauricio Pochettino at the club. The Argentinian coach has been linked with an exit in the summer, and Zinedine Zidane has been linked as the replacement for him.
The striker rejected a blank cheque offer from PSG, which would see him earn €90 million per season. However, it seems that the sporting project will be the priority for Mbappe since he is more focused on winning trophies and furthering his career.
