POCO has launched the POCO M4 Pro 5G in India today as per its schedule. The smartphone was initially announced in November for select markets internationally. The POCO M4 Pro 5G is a rebranded Redmi Note 11 5G. The major point of difference is the tweaked design and the different color options.
The device has a 6.5″ FHD+ LCD display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The display has a punch-hole setup and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz and a DCI-P3 color gamut.
In terms of the processor, you get to see the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chip paired with an LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 OS.
In the optics department, you get a 50MP rear sensor with an 8MP ultrawide angle sensor. On the front, POCO has integrated a 16MP sensor for selfies and video calls.
In terms of connectivity options, the device comes with support for dual SIM card slots, 7 bands 5G support, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB Type-C port.
The POCO M4 Pro 5G comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, dual stereo speakers, Hi-Res audio certification, an x-axis linear vibration motor, a microSD card slot, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The other sensors are an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, compass, and an IR blaster.
The device arrives with an IP53 certification as well. POCO has integrated a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. The POCO M4 Pro 5G arrives in Power Black, POCO Yellow, and Cool Blue.
The POCO M4 Pro 5G will retail for 14,999 INR for the 4GB RAM+64GB variant, 16,999 INR for the 6GB RAM+128GB variant, and 18,999 INR for the 8GB RAM+128GB variant.
The POCO M4 Pro 5G will be available on Flipkart, it will go on sale from the 22nd of February at 12 PM.
