The official renders of the Oppo Find X5 Pro have surfaced online, the device will come in black and white versions, with a texture that gives you the look of a flagship device. As per the initial reports, the Oppo Find X5 Pro 5G is not an affordable device as it is expected to retail for 1,200 euros or 1,02,580 INR.
From the first look of the device, the machine uses a crater lens design that is similar to the previous generation, and it appears that there is a telephoto lens in addition to the two outsole lenses.
You get to see the logo of the Mariana MariSilicon X on the rear module, the front is designed with a 2.5D micro-curved surface and the upper left corner has a punch-hole camera.
The Oppo Find X5 Pro features a 6.7″ LTPO AMOLED display with support for a 10-bit HDR display, and support for a 120Hz dynamic adaptive refresh rate. The device has a resolution of 3216×1440 pixels and is covered with a layer of the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, with a fingerprint scanner under the display.
The Find X5 Pro is equipped with the best Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and will be paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, we can expect it to come in higher RAM configurations as well. The European versions could have 256GB UFS 3.1 storage flash memory, which cannot be expanded.
The camera capability of the Find X5 Pro 5G which has been developed in cooperation with Swedish camera professional brand Hasselblad, includes two high-end Sony IMX766 sensors offering 10-bit color depth. The primary sensor is a 50MP one, the second sensor is an ultra-wide-angle sensor with a maximum aperture of f/2.2.
It is equipped with a zoom lens with a resolution of 13MP and an aperture of f/2.4 which supports up to 5x hybrid zoom and 20x digital zoom. The sensors support hardware optical image stabilization.
The Find X5 Pro 5G has the MariSilicon X AI chip indigenously developed by Oppo, it supports omnidirectional “full-pixel PDAF”. There is no laser-assisted focusing or ToF system, you also get a color sensor on the rear.
You can clearly see the “Powered by MariSilicon” behind the sensor, which indicates that Oppo has integrated the self-developed MariSilicon X image NPU processing unit which can be AI-supported image functions.
Oppo claims the camera can record 4K-UHD and up to 60 frames per second video, supporting various effects and AI-powered special effects, including a special night mode. In addition to this, the front camera of the machine uses a Sony IMX709 32MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.
The Oppo Find X5 Pro has a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging, and support for wireless charging as well. The device comes with an IP68 waterproof and dustproof certification, the body is made of aluminum and glass. The device runs on ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12.
The Oppo Find X5 Pro is expected to debut at MWC 2022 at the end of the month.
