The list of departures for Tottenham Hotspur continues with Bryan Gil joining Valencia. The youngster has returned to La Liga for the remainder of the season in a straight loan deal with no option to extend the deal or buy the player.
The deal has been confirmed by the two clubs in an official statement, and Gil will be expected to have more game time to help him develop into a better player.
Bryan Gil joins Valencia on loan
“Bryan Gil has joined La Liga side Valencia CF on loan until the end of the season.
The young winger joined us last summer from Sevilla and has made 20 appearances across all competitions in our colours to date,” said the Tottenham Hotspur official website about the departure of the Spanish forward.
The player was quite impressive in his last year in La Liga, scoring four goals and providing three assists in 28 appearances for Eibar. Now, he will be featuring for Valencia, whom he scored his final goal against, and will be there until the end of the campaign.
Tottenham signed Dejan Kulusevski on a loan with a buy option, and have a replacement lined up already. The Juventus forward will be competing for game time with the top forwards at the club, and that would’ve led to very few chances for Gil. He has now made the switch and will be hoping to make an impact for his new club.
