Dele Alli

Dele Alli will be joining Everton on a permanent deal for two-and-a-half years. The transfer has been given the ‘here we go’ signal by transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, which means that the deal is as good as done. It is only a matter of time before the deal is made official.

The player will be joining on an initial free transfer, and the clause included is that Everton will have to pay £10 million once Alli plays 20 games.

Dele Alli finally earns move away from Tottenham Hotspur

After being signed from MK Dons in 2015, Dele Alli has gone on to become a well-respected figure at the club. However, he has struggled for form over the last two seasons that has led to him being restricted to the bench.

He will undergo his medical today itself, and will sign his contract as well. Tottenham will not be signing Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa despite rumours, having recruited Rodrigo Bentancur from Juventus instead.

With a move to Everton, he will have a chance to rebuild his career under one of the best midfielders the Premier League has seen, Frank Lampard. The former Chelsea boss was recently confirmed as the permanent replacement for Rafa Benitez, and is set to take charge immediately.

Donny Van de Beek from Manchester United has also joined the Toffees as part of a deadline day transfer to help them avoid relegation at the end of the year.
