Sead Kolasinac has completed a loan move to Ligue 1 club Marseille. The player’s contract was mutually terminated after he fell out of favour under Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta. He has been signed on an 18-month long deal by the French side as a free agent.

The Bosnian was signed in 2017 on a free transfer after his contract with German club Schalke expired. Since joining the London club, he has made over a 100 appearances for them.

But, having made only two Premier League appearances this season, the player has decided to move to a new club to revive his career.

Pablo Mari is also set to leave Arsenal to join Italian club Udinese. The centre-back has completed his medical for the transfer, and will be announced as a new Udinese signing in the upcoming days.

The transfer will be a straight loan deal from Arsenal as the defender looks to gain more playing time away from the Emirates.

Arsenal are set to complete two deals: Sead Kolasinac is now one step away from joining OM as expected, deal confirmed and personal terms to be agreed soon. 🔵🤝 #TeamOM #OM

Arsenal have been trying to reduce their wage bill considerably and try to rebuild the squad. And this window, they have achieved it in good measure with moves for Ainsley Maitland-Niles as well as young striker Folarin Balogun.

Although they continue to be linked with Dusan Vlahovic, it seems unlikely that Arsenal will try to sign the Serbian sensation in the current transfer window. Any move for the Fiorentina man will have to wait for the summer at the very least.
