Mohamed Salah is in a league of his own this season. The Egyptian was on target for the 16th time in 21/22, scoring against his former club Chelsea in the 2-2 draw against them.
With his goal against the Blues, he now has 200 goal contributions for Liverpool in only 229 games for them. The winger joined them in 2017 from Roma, and has been their best player ever since.
Mohamed Salah proves himself yet again
The 29-year-old is at the peak of his abilities and is a mile ahead of the rest of the league in the race for the Golden Boot. This season alone, he has scored 23 goals and provided 9 assists in 26 games across all competitions.
Salah was considered a one-season wonder when he first arrived at Liverpool, but he is now the highest African goalscorer in the history of the league. Over the last five seasons with the Merseyside club, he has become a modern legend by the numbers alone.
He has won the Premier League Golden Boot twice already. With the kind of performances Mohamed Salah is putting in this season, he will be winning the award at the end of the season again. Liverpool are currently third in the table, 11 points away from Manchester City, with a game in hand.
Unfortunately, Liverpool will have to be without the player due to his national team duty. He will be playing for Egypt in the Africa Cup of Nations in a few days time.
