Euphoria fans should be ready and all set to get an inspiring new story from Zendaya and Hunter Schaffer.

Sam Levinson’s HBO series Euphoria is going to release its second season at the beginning of 2022 on 9th January at 9 pm ET, which is going to be the D Day for all the “Euphoria” fans.

Euphoria, the series of HBO is going to air the episodes weekly. While HBO Max, the online streaming platform will also premiere the weekly episodes.

Euphoria- Cast

The series Euphoria stars the Primetime Emmy award winner for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series named Zendaya shines, alongside Hunter Schaffer, Nika King, Eric Dane, Angus Cloud, Jacob Elordi, Algee Smith, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Barbie Ferreira, Maude Apatow, Javon Walton, Dominic Fike, Storm Reid, and Austin Abrams.

HBO has described that the new season of Euphoria shows us the story of a 17-year-old Rue- interpreted by Zendaya, who has found some hope while balancing the pressure of love, loss, and addiction.

Teen Vogue, the award-winning actress has said that this time the new show will have more intensity. Zendaya said, “I think this season is not going to be easy, though”. He further said, “It’s not going to be a fun watch, I don’t think, sometimes.”

“I think Rue really reserves all of that care when it comes to her character because I think she represents a lot for so many people said by Zendaya on her character ‘Rue’ in ‘Euphoria’.”

Zendaya believes that the vast majority of people empathize with Rue,-her character.

She further said, “I think Rue really reserves all of that care when it comes to her character because I think she represents a lot for so many people”.

“And I hope to make those people proud with our depictions of Rue, where all the characters go.”

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the filming did not take place as it was planned to be i.e. in March 2020. So, Euphoria’s second season was suspended for so long.

Although, the creator Sam Levison, Euphoria’s creator has designed the series to show an intense perspective of the character played by Zendaya and Hunter Schaffer.

Euphoria- ‘Helping inspire trans women’

Hunter Schaffer in an interview with IndieWire has said about the series and how it is helping to inspire trans women.

“Representation-wise, we’re still working on getting trans women who lie on many different ends of the spectrum of conventional beauty and conventional attraction and conventional ways of navigating gender and sexuality. There’s a myriad of ways to do that. And many trans people move through all that in that myriad of ways, including myself.”

Euphoria Season 1 has won two Emmy Outstanding Original Music awards, as well as for Lyrics and Outstanding Contemporary Makeup.
