Oppo just unveiled the Reno7 Series in China with the lineup comprising 3 devices, the Reno7 Pro, Reno7 Pro 5G, and Reno7 SE 5G. The first sales begin on December 3rd at 10:00 AM for the Reno7 and Reno7 Pro and on December 17th at 10:00 for the Reno7 SE.
Reno7 Pro 5G
The Oppo Reno7 Pro 5G is the best of the three Reno7 lineup phones. It sports the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Max chipset mated to either 8GB or 12GB of RAM. Both the configurations start at 256GB of storage.
On the front, the Reno7 Pro 5G has a 6.55″ AMOLED with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch-sampling rate, and an embedded fingerprint scanner. The screen has a 1080p resolution and can reach up to 800 nit peak brightness in direct sunlight.
At the back is a 50MP Sony IMX766 1/1.56″ primary sensor, assisting it is an ultrawide unit, and a 2MP macro shooter. There is a 32MP IMX709 selfie camera at the front.
The camera island is ringed by a stunning LED that doubles as a notification LED. Oppo ships the phones with ColorOS 12, based on Android 12 OS.
The Reno7 Pro 5G has a 4,500mAh battery with 65W charging. Prices for the 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB are CNY 3,699 and CNY 3,999 or 43,159 INR and 46,660 INR.
Reno7 5G
The Oppo Reno7 5G shares many of the Pro specs. Its battery has the same 4,500mAh capacity, but it does not charge as fast and has a limit of 60W.
The Reno7 5G also has a 90Hz 1080p AMOLED, but it is smaller at 6.43″.
The main camera has a 64MP sensor, but it is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP macro unit. it has a 32MP selfie shooter.
The processor inside is a Snapdragon 778G with either an 8GB or 12GB RAM with an option of 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB or 12GB+256GB configured storage.
The Reno7 5G’s prices begin from CNY 2,699 or 31,483 INR.
Reno7 SE 5G:
At last, we come to the Reno7 SE 5G, which has the same 6.43″ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate as the Reno7 5G.
It also matches the 4,500mAh battery capacity, only it charges at just 33W.
There is a Dimensity 900 SoC with 8GB RAM and an option of either 128GB or 256GB of storage.
Coming to the cameras, we see a 48MP IMX581 sensor, paired with 2, 2MP sensors, one for macro and the other for depth sensing.
We do not have any word on when the Reno7 Series will make it out of China, but it should be in early 2022.
