Top 10 dribblers in Europe's top five leagues

Having swift feet and dribbling past opponents is one of the most exhilarating football skills to watch. And in this article, we look at the players with the most successful dribbles per 100 minutes. The stats for the dribblers come from the CIES Football Observatory, who also published the Sustainability Report.

The PSG star has 5.33 successful dribbles every 100 minutes, and has a success rate of 55.7%. He has scored and assisted 6 goals in 12 games so far, and can back up his profile as a dribbler with an end product.

9. Nahitan Nandez: 5.56 

The Cagliari player has an astounding dribbling success rate of 70%, and averages a dribble every 13 minutes. 

8. Sofiane Boufal: 5.52 

Playing for French club Angers, Boufal averages a dribble every 10 minutes and more than half of them are successful. He has an index score of 5.52 dribbles per 100. 

7. Jeremie Boga: 5.80 

The Sassuolo attacking midfielder is known for being an agile dribbler, and he ranks above Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr in the list. He has a success rate of 61%. 

6. Alphonso Davies: 6.14

In addition to his outstanding pace, Davies is a skilled dribbler of the football as well. He has a success rate of 65% and has provided three assists in the league as a result. 

5. Neymar: 6.28 

Being a skillful dribbler is one of the things that makes Neymar so unique. But, he is not the best dribbler according to the numbers. He still has a success rate of 60% and has provided three goals and three assists as well. 

4. Kamaldeen Sulemana: 6.44 

Ghana's 🇬🇭 @Kamaldeen Sulemana wins French Ligue 1 player of the month of October.

Was rated the best dribbler in the league ahead of Neymar, Di Maria, Mbappe and Messi.

The Rennes midfielder inherited the number 10 shirt from Eduardo Camavinga, and is the only teenager in the top five. He averages a dribble every 8 minutes and has scored four goals and provided two assists. 

3. Allan Saint-Maximin: 7.02 

Allan Saint-Maximin is by far the best player that Newcastle United have. His skills as a dribbler are unrivalled, and he achieves a successful dribble 61% of the time. 

2. Rafael Leao: 7.10 

While some may be surprised to see the Portuguese forward in the list, he has better numbers than most top forwards this season. He has also added four goals and an assist in twelve games to back up the dribbling skills.

Traore remains as the best dribbler in the top five leagues in Europe by a huge margin. The player has an index score of 11.24, and averages an incredible success rate of 79%. However, despite being the best dribbler in the top European leagues, he has no goals or assists to add to it.
