How JioPhone Next’s amazing strategy will revolutionize the Indian market?

Jio’s biggest upcoming release is the highly anticipated JioPhone Next, which is now officially announced for the Indian customers, which can be bought this Diwali for just ₹1,999. Yes, you read it right, this is the base payment you have to make to get the all-new JioPhone Next and make the rest of the payment in flexible 18/24 months EMI.

Jio made a joint collaboration with Google, with the making to the much-anticipated JioPhone Next. It will be available in stores from Diwali, adding to the festive cheer in the country.

JioPhone Next is now officially the cheapest 4G smartphone that can be purchased and this price obviously includes the data service that is also provided with Jio itself. This brilliant strategy is to launch a unique smartphone that will bridge the gap between demand and necessity for all Indian users. This strategy targets the masses that need to have a smartphone to get connected with the whole world but at a cheaper price tag. Jio now bridges this gap by launching the JioPhone Next which can be availed by anyone by paying only ₹1,999 initially. This price tag will follow up with EMI options extending up to 18/24 months.

Mobile Phone on EMI

There will be four plans but remember that there will be a processing charge of ₹501 on top of the base ₹1,999 payment to split your rest amount or you can pay the actual price i.e. ₹6,499 upfront.

The beauty of the scheme is these four plans are up to 24 months and so you can get the JioPhone Next by paying as little as ₹300 for 24 months while also getting 5GB data and 100 minutes of calls per month. This is the base Always-on plan but supposes you need more data or minutes for the call, you can go all the way up to XXL plan that grants you 2.5GB data per day also giving you unlimited call for a month. Obviously, then you would have to pay ₹550 per month for 24 month period while the best scheme is the Large plan that gives 1.5GB data per day and unlimited calls by paying only ₹450 every month for up to 2 years!

Now, what do you think about this scheme? Is it the right move to target the mass or will it be something short-term like the previous time? Let’s see what awaits for this new smartphone.

We are not going to talk about any other features of the phone but the operating system and the storage options. In the JioPhone Next, we get a Qualcomm Snapdragon QM215 which is claimed to have some pretty amazing architecture specially designed for this budget smartphone. Below are the listed features associated with the processors.

  • CPU – Qualcomm Snapdragon QM215
  • CPU Speed – Up to 1.3GHz
  • CPU Core – 4 cores
  • GPU – Adreno 308 GPU @ 465Mhz

Now we know that the JioPhone Next has a built-in LPDDR3 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. This is slightly concerning me to a point that for how long can this device handles the normal day-to-day tasks?

To give you a clear idea, nowadays the LPDDR4 4GB RAM smartphone with Snparaon 675/665 processor finds it difficult to handle day-to-day tasks like social media apps and other necessary apps on the smartphone after a time period of 1.5 years. Thus, coming to the JioPhone Next this is really a matter of concern that for how long can this custom-designed smartphone last with proper use and no complaints from the users.

Because as days are passings, technologies are improving. People using this JioPhone Next will really have to find lite versions of most of the apps to run on this device to keep it smooth and lag-free. The processing power of the new Qualcomm Snapdragon QM215 chipset combined with the 2GB RAM will guide the way for the JioPhone Next in the future.
