Samsung recently hosted its Galaxy Unpacked event Part 2 after holding the earlier one in August when the South Korean tech giant launched the third-generation foldable display smartphones.
Samsung, at its Galaxy Unpacked event Part 2 2021, has announced its latest version of One UI. Dubbed as One UI 4, it brings a slew of visual changes, features and more. The One UI user interface, according to the company, brings a unified mobile experience to Galaxy smartphones with simplified and streamlined interaction and clean design.
One UI 4 brings an extensive level of customisation which includes new themes, a synchronised colour palette across the interface and devices along with new redesigned widgets.
The One UI 4 allows users to choose a system-wide colour based on the liking as well as extract colour from the wallpaper to match the theme of the phone with the interface.
Another feature that Samsung highlighted about One UI 4 is the new photos widgets that allow users to select a couple of photos from the Gallery and drop them into widgets just like a digital photo frame. As mentioned, Widgets has also received some changes. The One UI 4 now comes with rounded widgets.
For features, Samsung has only highlighted a couple of new features of One UI 4. The first one is the inclusion of a new Extra Dim mode which allows dimming the display while using the smartphone at night. Apart from that One UI 4 will bring some improvements to the photos, file sharing between phone and PC and more.
Emoji pair is another interesting feature of One UI 4. The feature allows users to pair two emojis and send in chats. Samsung has also added a couple of new Halloween themed emojis. Apart from that One UI 4 will bring some improvements to the photos, file sharing between phone and PC and more.
