Samsung has launched the Galaxy W22 5G, a successor to the last year’s Galaxy W21 5G. Similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy W22 5G is a China Telecom-exclusive handset.
It seems unlikely that Samsung will release this device outside of China, even though you cannot find the color scheme anywhere else.
Ultimately, the Samsung Galaxy W22 5G is a Galaxy Z Fold3 with more RAM, the devices share a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and a 4,400mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy W22 5G has a 7.6″ inner display and a 6.2″ outer display as well, matching the Galaxy Z Fold3.
It appears that Samsung has not changed any camera hardware for the Galaxy W22 5G, it features an under panel camera(UPC) too.
However, the device has 16GB of RAM, which is 4GB more than the Galaxy Z Fold3, the Galaxy W22 5G comes with 512GB of storage, it also has two SIM card slots in comparison to the Galaxy Z Fold3 that has only one SIM slot and an e-SIM.
What are your thoughts on the Samsung Galaxy W22 5G? Should Samsung consider releasing it in other markets?
