Lenovo has finally launched the new IdeaPad 3 Chromebook in India silently via Flipkart as a part of its Big Billion Days sale launch. These new budget Chromebooks are targeted at audiences who are still working or taking lessons from home and PCs or laptops are still important to them.
Chromebooks have suddenly been on a rise because of their flexibility and cost-effectiveness, so already players like HP and ASUS have brought a lot of laptops in the Rs.20k price segment in India.
Now, Lenovo enters the race with its not-so-old last year launched Lenovo IdeaPad 3 Chromebook and you can get it in the upcoming Big Billion Days sale, which starts the day after tomorrow for Flipkart Plus members.

It features an 11.6-inch Anti-glare TN panel with 1,366 x 768 pixels resolution and gets bright up to 250 nits. The Chromebook comes with Intel’s newer Gemini Lake Refresh CPU i.e. the dual-core Celeron N4020 processor with 1.10 GHz base clock speed up to 2.80 GHz boost clock speed using Burst Frequency.
The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 Chromebook is coupled with 4 GB LPDDR4 2400MHz RAM (soldered) and 64 GB eMMC, also Intel’s UHD Graphics 600 serves for basic graphical usage. For connectivity, the laptop supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2 and it’s great to see the laptop that runs on Chrome OS will get updates until June 2026.
A 720p webcam also comes included and Lenovo is offering a 3-cell Li-ion battery with a capacity of 42 Wh, which is quite appreciable in a laptop with such a low budget. For ports, the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 Chromebook offers 2 x USB-C, 2 X USB-A, a MicroSD card reader and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
