Intel’s ARC Alchemist card featuring DG2-128 GPU appears in the leaked image

In recent news, an image has been leaked over at Chiphell and it’s alleged to be that of an Intel ARC Alchemist graphics card featuring the DG2-128 GPU. It’s not something new seeing the designs of the DG2-128EU as the company has released die shots and information about the new DG2 series, as well as the 512EU model before.

In the picture, the GPU is the smaller chip that will max out at 128 Execution Units or 1024 ALUs. However, the VRAM configuration points out that the die will have more memory than we previously expected.

According to sources, the card is extremely small compared to other models by Intel as well as other manufacturers and reportedly consumes around 65 watts of power, which is much lower than the previously leaked 75 watts of power consumption.

Source also mentions that the Intel ARC Alchemist graphics card features a 6 GB GDDR6 memory and will most likely feature a 96-bit bus interface.

If all the information is correct then we can expect the configurations to start at 3 GB and to go up to 4/6/8 GB for the smallest of the two ARC Alchemist GPUs. However, since the Graphics cards are coming with a minimum of 4GB these days, the 3 GB variant seems unlikely.

The Intel ARC Alchemist desktop models are to showcase three different SKUs, while their mobile versions are to have up to five different SKUs.
