Cristiano Ronaldo scored his third goal in two games in the Premier League against West Ham United. The player was also the fastest on the pitch, recording a top speed of 32.51 km/hr which just goes to show that the 36-year-old is still one of the best, physically.

The Portuguese international made the move from Juventus to Old Trafford in the final few days of the transfer window, after asking to be benched for Juventus. United pounced on the opportunity after talks with Manchester City fell through, and Ronaldo has scored in every game for Manchester United since returning.

He has also opened his scoring record in the Champions League for Manchester United once again, netting against BSC Young Boys in the defeat to the Swiss club. However, the arrival of the striker has now made United genuine contenders for titles in all four competitions.

“Ronaldo feels the big moments and he is ruthless,” the coach said.

“He is lethal and has lifted everyone’s games.

“He smells out danger and has become a great team player and a great goalscorer.”

Ronaldo’s 32.51 kmph speed means he outran the likes of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Jarrod Bowen on the pitch. Both these players are two of the fastest in the league, and are much younger than CR7. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now managed 29 away games unbeaten for United, and they sit in second in the Premier League behind Chelsea and Liverpool. The only factor separating the teams is goal difference.
