Huawei is introducing the nova 9 series on September 23, and we expect at least two smartphones – the Huawei nova 9 and the nova 9 Pro. A fresh leak that has appeared on Weibo has revealed the entire specs of both devices before launch. So let’s have a look at all the details of the upcoming Huawei smartphones.

Huawei Nova 9 will offer a curved OLED display with FullHD + resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate and a diagonal of 6.57 inches, a Snapdragon 778G chipset without 5G support, 8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of storage. The battery capacity is 4300 mAh, which fit in a case with dimensions of 160×73.7×7.77 mm and a weight of 175 grams.
On the front panel of the Nova 9, a 32-megapixel front camera with an aperture of f/2.0 is available, and on the rear panel, they will offer a system of four modules, where the main RYYB sensor is 50 megapixels with an aperture of f/1.7. Complementing the set of sensors on the back an ultra-wide 8 megapixel with an aperture of f / 2.2; and a couple of 2-megapixel sensors for macro photography and depth analysis.

As per the benchmark results, the device under the hood will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G processor. The smartphone will pack 8GB of RAM. The handset is supposed to run HarmonyOS 2 out of the box. The Huawei Nova 9 Pro is tipped to feature a 6.72-inch display. The display panel might offer a 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate.
Dimensions-wise the handset is supposed to measure 163.4×74.4×7.97mm and it might weigh around 186 grams. In terms of imaging, the Nova 9 Pro is said to feature a quad-camera setup. The rear camera module might include a 50MP primary main camera. The 50MP sensor might be accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a pair of 2MP sensors. On the front side, the device is expected to feature two 32MP cameras.
A 4000mAh battery is supposed to fuel the device which will have 100W fast charging support, as per the 3C certification. The device is supposed to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is said that both the upcoming Nova 9 series will offer only 4G LTE support.
