The 2021 summer transfer window was arguably the craziest of all time, with several big names changing clubs in the span of a few weeks. Now that the time for business is over, here are the top five bargain deals for young players this transfer window:

5. Demarai Gray, Leverkusen to Everton (£1.7m)

Gray left for Bayer Leverkusen from Leicester in January, and struggled for game time in Germany. Six months later, he returned to England to join Everton for a bargain deal and has already scored two goals in three games for his new club.

4. Tino Livramento, Chelsea to Southampton (£5m)

Livramento was named the Chelsea academy player of the year for 2021. The talented right-back has been sold to the Saints for development and the Blues have included a buyback clause in his deal as well. The player is expected to be the future of Chelsea’s right-back position alongside Reece James in the future.

3. Eric Garcia, Man City to Barcelona (free)

Garcia did not renew his deal with Manchester City, and chose to return to Barcelona this summer as a free agent. The defender has been highly praised by Pep Guardiola, and Barcelona have themselves a promising young defender in the Spaniard.

2. Eduardo Camavinga, Rennes to Real Madrid (£26.6m)

In what was one of the most surprising transfers of the summer, Eduardo Camavinga was signed by Real Madrid as their first paid signing in three windows. The midfielder has been given the number 25 shirt and has signed a six year deal with Los Blancos, snubbing Manchester United and PSG to join Madrid.

1. Gianluigi Donnarumma, Milan to PSG (free)

Donnarumma was arguably the best goalkeeper in Serie A during his time with AC Milan. He was named the player of the tournament at the Euros, and helped Italy win the tournament by winning the penalty shootout. After his contract with Milan expired, PSG stepped in to sign the player as a free agent.
