Rajasthan Royals have announced their latest addition in the form of South African left-arm wrist spinner Tabraiz Shamsi for the remaining fixtures of IPL 2021. Shamsi, currently ranked number in the number one spot in the world T20 bowlers list is included in the squad as a replacement to Andrew Tye.

The Australian fast bowler has pulled out of phase two of IPL 2021 due to personal reasons as he felt the need to spend more time with his family after continuously playing for his country and different T20 leagues for a year. As a result, this will be Shamsi’s second stint in the IPL as he had represented the Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2016.
