Mony is a Chinese OEM with a growing presence in Hong Kong and Mainland China. The brand has now launched the Mony Mint, a 4G device it has dubbed to be the smallest 4G enabled phone in the world. The Mint is a lightweight smartphone that features a 3″ touch display, slightly smaller than the 3.3″ Palm Phone that supports LTE connectivity as well.
The Mony Mint’s sleek, pint-sized and elegant design provides an aesthetic appeal. Its minimalist design is also reflected in the number of various ports and side buttons available on it. It only has volume and power buttons in addition to the USB Type C port.
The portable smartphone has 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can further be expanded up to 164GB via an SD card slot. It is also a dual SIM smartphone, with some great apps already preinstalled.
The Mony Mint runs on Android 9 and could serve as an essential travel companion as it is compatible with all major wireless networks across the world.
In addition to this, wireless calls can be used in situations where it is impossible to make network calls, the dual-SIM slot also provides an opportunity to get more from the device. Finally, it features a 1,250mAh battery under the hood which offers up to 72 hours or 3 days of service on a full charge.
The Mony Mint is priced at a meager $150(11,175 INR) which is a good price range for it. There is also a Super Early Bird offer on Indiegogo that brings the price down to $100( 7,450 INR), the other slots offer the device at $115(8,567 INR) and $130(9,684 INR). The smartphone will begin shipping from November 2021.
