Micromax launched its new IN series of smartphones earlier this year with the IN 1 smartphone in March. They may now be eyeing the launch of its successor, the IN Note 2. It has already scheduled an event for its launch on 30th July.
Days ahead of the launch event, a smartphone with the model number E7446 has appeared on benchmarking platform Geekbench, which is believed to be the upcoming Micromax IN 2 or IN Note 2.
As per the Geekbench listing, the smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G95 chipset clocked at 2GHz and packs 4GB of RAM. The device is expected to come in multiple storage variants at the time of launch.
The device will most likely run on Android 11 out-of-the-box. It could very well feature the brand’s own custom UI on top. The listing shows a single-core score of 500 and a multi-core score of 1,546 on Geekbench.
A recent leak revealed that the Micromax IN 2 will come powered by Unisoc T610 SoC, so the device that appeared on Geekbench could be the IN Note 2. We will know for sure a couple of days after, as we near the launch date, we will get more information about the device.
The upcoming Micromax IN 2 will have a 6.5″ HD+ LCD display with a waterdrop notch. It will have a dual-camera setup on the rear with a dual-camera setup with a main 13MP sensor along with a 2MP sensor. It will have an 8MP selfie camera.
