Former East Bengal players and legends such as Sukumar Samajpati and Chandan Banerjee have gone on record to display their support towards the club officials in between of the ongoing crisis of East Bengal with Shree Cement.
Shree Cements are also potential investors of East Bengal but however at the moment there have been quite a few contract disputes between the two parties following which East Bengal officials have refused to sign the agreement.
Moreover, both the aforementioned former players Sukumar Samajpati and Chandan Banerjee were invited by the club to read the terms and conditions from their own eyes before making a public statement and the duo went on record saying “We have read and examined the term sheet and the final agreement and found disparity in both. Certain terms and clauses in the form of the first term sheet are changed.”
It seems now that the original is that the previously agreed clauses provided by Shree Cements are no longer to be found in the agreement leading to a dispute between the two parties.
