HMD Global is continuing its attempt to dominate the Indian feature phone market by releasing yet another feature phone with the Nokia 110 4G. The device was launched along with the Nokia 105 4G in Europe, it will be an upgraded version of the Nokia 110 which came out in 2019 and had only support for 2G.
With the inception of 5G and 5G capable devices, earlier devices that supported 2G bandwidth are looking at their final days. The Nokia 110 4G appears to be just speeding their decline by providing 4G LTE connectivity. It, however, is not the only feature phone in its segment, the 105 4G also boasts 4G capabilities along with Holding’s itel Magic 2 4G.
When it comes to the specs of the device, the Nokia 110 4G will have a 1.8″ LCD along with a resolution of 120 x 160 pixels. At the back, the device uses a polycarbonate body and sports a single 0.8MP QVGA camera.
Nokia has provided 128MB RAM along with 48MP storage, which the user can expand up to 32GB with a MicroSD card. The Nokia 110 4G will also have a 3.5mm audio jack along with an FM Radio that will work without a headphone jack, not something you see in a lot of feature phones.
The phone also comes with an LED flashlight at the top edge. it has a 1,020mAh battery which will support up to 14 days of standby use in 4G. While on a 4G voice call, you will get 5 hours of battery time. In case one wishes to extend the battery life, the device when switched to 2G and 3G bandwidth will provide up to 16 hours of talk time and 18 days of standby.
The Nokia 110 4G is available in Black, Yellow, and Aqua shades. It costs ($38) Rs.2,799. The feature phone will be available on Amazon and Nokia India’s official site.
