Wolfsburg have completed the signing of Lukas Nmecha from Manchester City on a permanent transfer. The player returns to the Bundesliga after spending the first half of the 19/20 season on loan at the German club.
Nmecha has signed a four-year contract with Wolfsburg and has been signed for a reported fee of €13 million. The paperwork have been completed, and the player has put pen to paper to complete the transfer. City have included a buy-back clause in his contract, and they also have a 15% sell-on clause should he be sold anytime until 2025.
The 22-year-old operates as a centre forward and came through the Manchester City academy. He spent several spells out on loan at Wolfsburg, Middlesbrough and Anderlecht. Nmecha is currently a Germany U21 international and has made 20 appearances for them, scoring 12 goals.
