I know we are all anxiously waiting to see what the M1X MacBook Pro laptops will bring to the table and to be frank we expect big things from the new device of the Cupertino giant. And it seems that the Internet is once again gearing to receive a new leak regarding the development of the Cupertino giant.

According to sources, a particular Apple laptop, known as the Retina MacBook and New MacBook, which was discontinued in July 2019, might get resurrected to be the new compact and mobile-friendly subnotebook.

The new leak from, LeaksApplePro states “Fun fact: Apple is working on this” regarding an Apple Silicon 12-inch MacBook, although there is something of a caveat in terms of its potential release.

While we have seen much information about the M2-based MacBook Air devices and how they are being prepared for a 2022 release, but we are yet to hear anything about the 12-inch MacBook or 12-inch MacBook Air. The same leaker also comments “But won’t happen any time soon”, and is interesting that Apple will be bringing back the Intel-based MacBook 12 and rejuvenate it with up-to-date technology of its latest silicon. it seems that the Cupertino giant plans to set it up as an attractive alternative to other devices with M-series chips.

well to be frank the 2015-2019 MacBook 12 had a bunch of flaws. Starting with its much-maligned butterfly keyboards and its underwhelming Intel processors (low-power Intel Core M chips were used), were pretty bad. However, now all those flaws can be easily fixed with a simple internal upgrade.

A resurrected 12-inch MacBook or new 12-inch MacBook Air will reportedly take advantage of the scissor-switch mechanism for its keyboard and, will also come with the ARM-based Apple Silicon.
