Reports indicate that the miners were caught with a shocking number of Playstation 4’s. And owned several high-end devices. in the raid up to 5,000 pieces of hardware, including over 500 graphics cards, 50 processors, and 3,800 PlayStation 4 (PS4) consoles, were seized by the Ukrainian government.

According to reports all these pieces of hardware which are currently in short supply in the U.S. and beyond, were available in stocks, suggesting some illegal trading in the country. However, the shocking thing is that the PS4 consoles have no place in mining, yet they outnumbered those of the graphics cards.

However, the photographs released by the Ukrainian Law Enforcement department clearly show that the PS4s were connected to the internet. But, there have never been any records of PS4 mining setups before, and there is not confirmation that you can mine cryptocurrency on a gaming console. The amount of PS4’s found in the crypto mining farm indicates that the boys in Ukraine might have found a method to mine cryptocurrency using the consoles.
