A queen who divorces her emperor, then demands to marry another king? That’s the juicy hook behind one of the most anticipated Korean drama releases of the year. And if you haven’t started yet, you’re only a couple of days behind.

What Is The Remarried Empress About?

The story follows Navier, the admired Empress of the Eastern Empire. Her husband brings home a mistress and asks for a divorce. Rather than accept defeat, Navier agrees but asks to marry a rival prince of the Western Kingdom, setting off a tale of political intrigue, romance and a fight to reclaim power. Think royal drama with a revenge-flavoured twist. Variety
