Sometimes the star of a viral photo isn’t the person, it’s what’s in their hand. Sara Tendulkar’s Diwali post lit up Instagram, and eagle-eyed fans quickly zoomed in on her phone. Here’s what it is, what it costs, and why it’s getting attention.
What Made the Post Go Viral
Sara Tendulkar, daughter of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, shared photos from her office Diwali celebration. Her outfit drew plenty of praise, but the smartphone in her hand stole the spotlight. It comes in a rich burgundy shade, and Aaj Tak’s tech desk says it appears to be an iPhone 18 Pro series model, probably the Pro Max judging by its size. That’s the outlet’s read of the photo, not a confirmation from Sara. For more celebrity and tech stories, explore Technosports.
Sara Tendulkar: iPhone 18 Pro Max: Price and Key Specs
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Starting price (India) | ₹1,79,900 for 256GB |
| Top variant | About ₹3.3 lakh (₹3,29,900) for 2TB |
| Display | 6.9-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED, 120Hz |
| Peak brightness | 3,000 nits |
| Chip | A20 Pro (2nm) |
| Rear cameras | Triple 48MP setup |
| Selfie camera | 18MP with Face ID |
Why the Price Tag Turns Heads?
The base model already sits well above most flagships, and the 2TB variant costs roughly twice as much. That jump is why the headline number, about ₹3.3 lakh, spread so fast. Storage is the main driver, since the price climbs steeply from 256GB to 2TB. For most buyers, the entry configuration will be the realistic choice.
A Closer Look at the Display and Chip
The 6.9-inch OLED panel refreshes at up to 120Hz, so scrolling and video should feel smooth. A 3,000-nit peak brightness keeps the screen readable in strong sunlight, and a Ceramic Shield with an anti-reflective coating protects it. Under the hood, the 2nm A20 Pro chip promises faster performance and better efficiency. Read more about our latest smartphone coverage.
The Camera Setup
All three rear cameras are 48MP, covering main, secondary, and third lenses. That consistency should help photo quality stay sharp across zoom levels. Up front, the 18MP selfie camera supports HDR and Dolby Vision, a nice touch for video calls and social posts.
Is It Worth Buying?
If you want Apple’s top-tier hardware and don’t mind the cost, the iPhone 18 Pro Max is the ultimate upgrade. If you want value, a lower-storage model or an older iPhone will serve you just as well. A celebrity photo may spark interest, but your own budget and needs should decide.
