After announcing their successful negotiations with Dortmund regarding the signing of Jadon Sancho, Manchester United are planning to continue their summer spending spree. Their next target seems to be Eduardo Camavinga of Rennes, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The talented young midfielder has been courted by numerous big clubs across Europe including Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. While Rennes wanted to keep a hold of him all this while, he only has a year left on his current deal and isn’t in line for a renewal.
But while PSG are still interested in the player, Manchester United are pushing to sign him this summer. The club are willing to offer a sum worth €30 million for the teenager, who only has a year left on his current deal with the French club. He will be a free agent next year if he is not sold this summer, and almost every club will be in the race for him at that point.
Romano further states that Rennes are open to negotiating around the €30 million mark, and the Red Devils could add another young star to their lineup to bolster their chances of winning the Premier League.
United are also interested in signing Raphael Varane from Real Madrid this summer since he, too, has only one year left on his current deal and is willing to try something new after a year at the Spanish club.
