The Story: A Cathartic Divorce Show Returns
After the success of Season 1, the new season continues to follow Cha Eun Kyung (Jang Nara), a star lawyer for whom divorce is a calling. Alongside her is Kang Hye Sung (Kim Hye Yoon), an experienced lawyer who takes divorce cases very seriously. The two become each other’s “good partner”, and their cases deliver the satisfying, cathartic wins that fans loved the first time around.
A Rivalry Across Two Floors
The new stills show the heat between Eun Kyung and Park Tae Su (Park Hae Jin). Their firms sit in the same building opposite the courthouse. Eun Kyung’s firm, Rebom, is on the seventh floor, and Tae Su’s Law Firm Taesu sits directly above on the eighth. Neighbours, then, but rivals by nature.
In the stills, Eun Kyung pays Tae Su a personal visit. He greets her calmly, while she wears a clearly displeased expression.
The Battle for Hye Sung
The rivalry escalates into a recruitment battle. Eun Kyung offers experience and expertise, while Tae Su, who aspires to be the top divorce lawyer in the field, has his own approach. Hye Sung is curious about Rebom, but she also lights up when she receives Tae Su’s business card. That’s a hint about which firm she might end up choosing.

Jang Nara describes Tae Su as a character with many charms, strong in his professional convictions and in a conflict-ridden relationship with Eun Kyung. Park Hae Jin explains that the relationship is more “Good Partner?” than “Good Partner!”. He says Tae Su respects Eun Kyung, but beneath that lie an inferiority complex and a desire to beat her. That mix of admiration and rivalry should make for strong on-screen friction.
