Guardiola, the current coach of Manchester City warned the La Liga president that he should focus on his own league and on Spanish clubs.

Guardiola said about LaLiga in an interview with TV3, via Marca: “There are examples out there of better management,”

“You see it in Asia. Mr. Tebas should learn what they’re doing there. Maybe then he can sell his product better in other countries.”

“People complain, but thanks to investments other clubs in other countries can keep doing things.”

“[Tebas] should learn because it seems he knows more than everybody and is wiser than everybody.”

“He invites himself into other people’s houses.”

“Maybe [with a change], Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Valencia would have more resources to make the investments they need.”

The Catalan said, responding to the LaLiga president’s recent assertion that no exceptions will be made so that Barcelona can sign Lionel Messi: “It seems fine to me that Tebas doesn’t want to adjust the economic control rules at all.”

“We also have to make adjustments because if we don’t do things correctly then there will be complaints and we’ll have to defend ourselves in court.”

“[Manchester City CEO] Ferran Soriano does things in the correct way.”
