The Story in a Nutshell

Three comedians have spent a decade trying to get noticed, with little to show for it. After meeting a mysterious woman, they begin looking for new directions in life. It’s about dreams that refuse to die, plus the people who show up while you’re busy chasing them.

Meet the Three Couples

Kang Tae Gu (Kang Hoon) and Go Eun Young (Lee Yi Dam): the surprise.
Tae Gu is still chasing a dream that hasn’t come true. Then Eun Young, the girl next door, crashes into his life like a bolt from the blue. This looks like the classic “love arrives when you least expect it” storyline, and Kang Hoon’s earnest charm seems tailor-made for it.

Kim Nam Il (Cho Hyun Chul) and Lee Na Yeon (Moon Hee): the veterans.
They’ve been together 10 years, and the teaser shows it. Their love is familiar, soft and a little teasing. Na Yeon’s affectionate line about him being adorably annoying captures a partner who has backed his dreams through every lean year. They may be the emotional heart of the show.

Han Jun Seo (Kim Jung Jin) and Go Ji Young (Yoon Ga Yi): the slow burn.
Here the sparks are one-sided, for now. Ji Young flirts boldly and refuses to back down. Jun Seo bluntly tells her she’s not his type, and she hits back by asking what his type actually is. It’s playful, bold and perfect for fans of rom-com banter.
