Alan Walker to Headline BGMI BMIC 2026 in Mumbai; Tickets Available on District

KRAFTON India has announced that global electronic music star Alan Walker will headline the BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA INTERNATIONAL CUP (BMIC) 2026 in Mumbai. Organised in partnership with District, the three-day esports event will run from October 30 to November 1, 2026, at the Dome, SVP Indoor Stadium (NSCI).

The announcement brings together competitive gaming and live music, with Walker scheduled to perform on the tournament’s opening day, October 30. Tickets for the event are available through District, giving BGMI fans an opportunity to watch top Asian esports teams compete alongside a live performance by the internationally recognised DJ and producer.

Alan Walker Returns to the BGMI Community

For BGMI players, Alan Walker’s appearance carries a special connection with the game’s history. In 2024, his track ‘Hero’ became the game’s lobby anthem as part of KRAFTON India‘s ‘Be A Hero’ campaign.

The song accompanied players as they entered the BGMI lobby and featured in in-game campaign activities centred on resilience and heroism. Walker’s upcoming performance at BMIC 2026 will bring that association from the virtual world to a live stage.

Commenting on the announcement, Alan Walker said he was excited to return to India and perform for the BGMI community in person. He highlighted the connection between gaming and music and encouraged fans to attend the event with their squads.

Karan Pathak, Associate Director – Esports at KRAFTON India, said the community had embraced ‘Hero’ as its own anthem. He added that bringing Walker to BMIC 2026 would extend that connection beyond the game while celebrating Asia’s leading competitive teams.
