Superstar power doesn’t fade on a second Friday. Jailer 2 has crossed a massive worldwide milestone, and a historic record now looks within reach.

Jailer 2 Box Office

Detail	Info
Lead Star	Rajinikanth
Production	Sun Pictures
2nd Friday (India)	Rs 16 crore approx.
Drop from Thursday	15%
India Total (9 days)	Rs 390 crore approx.
Worldwide Total	Rs 609 crore approx.

A Strong Hold After the Holidays

Jailer 2 started week two with around Rs 16 crore on Friday. That’s a 15% dip from the previous day, which the trade calls a solid hold after a long holiday stretch. The domestic total is set to cross Rs 400 crore today.

Records Falling Fast

The worldwide haul of about Rs 609 crore has already pushed it past the lifetime collection of the first Jailer. It is also expected to overtake Leo today. By the end of Sunday, it is on track to become the highest-grossing Kollywood film of all time, overtaking 2.0.

Where Is the Money Coming From?

Territory	Gross (Rs crore)
Tamil Nadu	145.25
APTS	74.00
Karnataka	67.25
Kerala	65.00
Rest of India	38.50
India Total	390.00

State-by-State Highlights

Tamil Nadu: Rs 6.25 crore on its second Friday, higher than Leo (Rs 6 crore) but below The GOAT (Rs 7 crore). It should cross Rs 150 crore today and remains on course for Rs 200 crore.
Karnataka: The standout performer, with over Rs 3 crore on Friday, nearly double the first Jailer. A final total above Rs 90 crore is expected. That would beat several pan-India blockbusters, including Pushpa 2, RRR, Kalki 2898 AD, and Jawan.

What to Watch This Weekend?

Saturday and Sunday will decide whether the 2.0 record falls. With steady holds and strong numbers in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, the momentum looks favourable.

Sunday night could make box office history.
