Last Place, First Plan: Kim Woo Bin’s GIFT Teaser Brings the Baseball Magic

Every sports drama needs an underdog. GIFT gives us the ultimate one: a high school baseball team ranked dead last in the nation, and a coach with a secret edge. tvN has just dropped a new teaser, and it’s already getting fans excited.

GIFT : Overview

The Story

Jung Min Yong is a former professional baseball pitching coach. After an unexpected accident, he gains a special ability, then becomes head coach of the lowest-ranked high school team in the country. Expect underdog energy, big comebacks and a hint of mystery about what his gift really is.

What GIFT Teaser Shows?

The clip opens on Yoon Seo Jin, played by Seo Eun Soo, a physical education teacher and manager of Deokcheon High School’s baseball team. The camera follows a baseball as it passes from player to player, until it reaches coach Jung Min Yong, who smiles confidently at the camera. A short caption teases that the team has found its solution on the field.

It’s a clean, playful teaser that sells team spirit, and it leaves Min Yong’s special ability as a mystery.
