Ever bumped into your ex while on a date with someone new? Now imagine it happening at the exact moment your date touches your face. That’s the cringe-worthy, can’t-look-away scenario waiting for fans of A Love Other Than Yours in tonight’s episode.
What Is “A Love Other Than Yours” About?
This KBS 2TV romance drama follows a couple in their 10th year of dating. Their relationship once felt like home, but unexpected emotional shifts are making it feel unfamiliar. Anyone who has stayed with someone long enough to wonder “Do we still work?” will recognize the feeling.
The leads are Seo Kang Jun as Namgoong Ho and Ahn Eun Jin as Lee Mi Do. If you want to know more about the actor’s career, his Wikipedia profile is a good starting point.
The Setup: A One-Month “Experiment”
In the previous episode, Namgoong Ho and Lee Mi Do each proposed something unusual to a new person. Ho approached Park Soo Ah (Jo Aram), and Mi Do approached Han Tae Seung (Lee Joo Ahn). The offer: date for exactly one month.
Both wanted to heal from a decade together by seeing love through fresh eyes. But here’s the catch: neither could truly let go of the other. That unresolved tension is what makes this storyline so juicy.
Tonight’s Awkward Run-In
Newly released stills for the next episode show Park Soo Ah tenderly cupping Namgoong Ho’s face at a restaurant. Right then, Lee Mi Do and Han Tae Seung walk in.
The result is four people in one place and two exes witnessing each other’s dates. The episode promises an uncomfortable conversation and a real shift in the characters’ emotions. Nobody walks out of that restaurant the same as they walked in.

Why This Storyline Hits Home?
Most romance dramas focus on how couples meet. This one asks a braver question: what happens after the honeymoon fades?
The “date someone else for a month” idea is clever because it forces both characters to compare. Is the discomfort they feel with new people proof that they belong together, or just the comfort of habit? That’s the question fans will be debating after tonight.
Here’s what makes the dynamic work:
- Relatable stakes: long-term relationship fatigue is something many viewers recognize.
- Built-in tension: two sets of new partners guarantee awkward moments.
- Emotional payoff: the run-in forces honesty, even when no one is ready for it.
