What if you woke up as the female lead of your favorite drama and the male lead was real? That’s the fun fantasy behind Oh! My Guard, whose third teaser is out. Starring Jung Yong Hwa and Hong Seung Hee, it’s a playful romantic comedy with a very unusual “no kissing” rule.
Oh! My Guard: Story
The drama follows Uhm Tae Bong (CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa), an A-list actor with a fatal flaw. His secret is that he can’t film kissing scenes, and he insists they’re out of the question. Funnily enough, his image as a “romance master who never kisses on screen” is what made him a top star.
Then comes Oh Hae Ra (Hong Seung Hee), a mysterious woman who believes she is Cha Hong Doo, the heroine of his first starring drama, The Crown Prince’s Bodyguard. She discovers his secret and volunteers to be his secret bodyguard.
What the Teaser Shows?
The teaser opens with reporters asking Tae Bong about kissing scenes in his next project. It then cuts to him shouting “Cut!” the moment his face touches a co-star’s. After Hae Ra finds out his secret, she vows to risk her life to protect him and then boldly confesses her feelings. Tae Bong, meanwhile, admits he doesn’t understand why he’s acting this way, a clear sign he’s starting to fall for her.
