Apple is known to bring at least some of the new design changes to its products when they are launched. And in recent years, Apple has adopted the tradition of launching its new products with internal changes and new technologies. However, the Cupertino giant has a habit of first making sure that the users buy out the existing product and then will launch a complete remodelled version.
According to sources, Apple is reportedly exploring a new design for the iPad with bigger displays. The biggest iPad display is stated to be at 12.9-inches, and the latest reports indicate that the new iPad design with bigger displays is ‘a couple of years down the road’. And don’t get excited; there is still a chance that the project might get scrapped by the Cupertino giant.
There were also rumours going around that the company is developing new iPad models with a redesigned chassis. The new design will incorporate a glass back for wireless charging and could be released next year. The new model is expected to come in both 11-inch and 12.9-inch screen sizes. However, there are not more concrete details on how the new design will look and how it will be designed.
Industry insiders state that the iPad with a bigger display would further bridge the gap between an iPad and a MacBook. In addition, Apple is already moving forward with enhancing its iPad OS with a plethora of new productivity features.
For now, we know that Apple’s rumoured iPad models with bigger displays will not be arriving any time soon. If the company continues to suffer from the shortage of Mini-LED technology supply, then the plan might be scrapped.
