Technical Specifications of Dimensity 9600 Pro
The Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset includes several technical enhancements:
Compute Performance: It features a 2+3+3 All Big Core CPU design. This architecture comprises two C2-Ultra cores operating at up to 4.55GHz, three C2-Pro big cores at 4.35GHz, and three C2-Pro big cores at 3.1GHz. MediaTek states this configuration delivers up to 17% higher single-core and 15% higher multi-core performance compared to its predecessor, alongside a reported 61% reduction in multi-core power consumption.
Advanced AI: The chipset integrates a dual-NPU architecture and the Dimensity Agentic AI Engine. This aims to shift AI from a reactive system to a proactive digital companion capable of perceiving context and anticipating user needs. The 2nd-gen Super-Efficient NPU is designed to reduce always-on AI power consumption by 40%, while the NPU 1090 offers 51% higher LLM prefill performance and 55% higher Token generation per watt, supporting models up to 30 billion parameters.
Gaming: An integrated G2-Ultra NX GPU is designed to provide up to 27% higher peak performance, 24% lower power consumption, and 18% faster ray tracing, supporting console-grade gaming at up to 185 frames per second (fps). The MediaTek Dimensity Neural Graphics Architecture combines GPU and AI computing, complemented by MediaTek HyperEngine for optimized gameplay.
Imaging: The Imagiq 1290 ISP and AI Imaging Fusion Architecture support advanced computational photography. Features include NPU-powered 60fps motion capture, 4K240 ultra-slow-motion video, 4K60 AI True Color Tone, 4K120 cinematic log, and 17EV imaging capabilities.
OPPO’s Laminar Flow Engine
In conjunction with the new chipset, OPPO will debut its proprietary Laminar Flow Engine within the Find X10 Series. Jointly developed with MediaTek, this technology aims to optimize the underlying rendering architecture and system scheduling. Its purpose is to balance system responsiveness with power consumption, accelerate application launches, and maintain stable content loading during intensive tasks like rapid photo browsing.
The launch of the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max with the Dimensity 9600 Pro is anticipated in the coming weeks. For further information on these and other industry developments, you can visit TechnoSports (https://technosports.co.in/).
